Engineered for maximum-output 700mm .22 (5.5mm) slug rifles, this 38-grain (2.46-gram), 11.14 mm boat-tail projectile achieves a staggering, shooter-verified G1 Ballistic Coefficient of 0.210 — double that of standard heavy airgun slugs and rivalling .22 LR rimfire match ammunition in wind resistance and retained energy out past 200 metres.
Launched at its ideal 940 FPS (74.6 ft-lbs / 101.1 Joules), the 38gr Apex HP still carries 852 FPS and 61.3 ft-lbs (83.1 J) at 100 metres at Gauteng Highveld altitude, drifting just 42 mm (1.65″) in a 15 km/h full crosswind.
